Creating a Multilink Bundle
To create a multilink bundle, use the following commands:

Step 1 Router# configure terminal
Step 2 Router(config)# interface
multilink group-number
Step 3 Router(config-if)# ip address
address mask
Assigning an Interface to a Multilink Bundle
To assign an interface to a multilink bundle, use the following commands:

slot/subslot/port
Step 3 Router(config-if)# encapsulation
ppp
Step 4 Router(config-if)# ppp multilink
group group-number
Step 5 Router(config-if)# ppp multilink Enables multilink PPP on the interface.

PPP encapsulation must be enabled before configuring multilink-related commands.
