Typical frequency response and corresponding upper limits

Prior to shipment, each microphone is carefully checked at the factory. The calibra-
tion diagram contained in the box presents the actual frequency response of the elec-
tret microphone and the frequency response measured outdoors.
Typical frequency response with frequency weighting for the sound level meter is
presented in the figure below. The typical frequency response and microphone fre-
quency response measured outdoors can be regarded as the total response of the
sound level meter to be used outdoors. The Calibration Certificate also contains the
test results of frequency response with A, C and Z weightings.
