Calibration by measurement is performed as follows:
(1)
Insert the microphone all the way into the calibrator cavity; it must be firmly
settled.
(2)
Switch on the calibrator and set a fixed sound level (e.g. 94 dB).
(3)
To open the By Measurement menu, select Calibration and press <ENTER>.
(4)
In the menu, set the Cal.Level value to e.g. 93.8 dB. The calibration process
takes 5 s from pressing <START>.
(5)
When it is completed, the calibration factor in the sound level meter will be
updated. Press <ENTER> to apply the results.
