Check keyboard for availability of key
Synopsis
unsigned short key_stat()
Description
The key_stat() macro checks the keyboard to see if a key is available to read. It
returns 0 if no key is available. The first pending key is returned if any keys are
available.
Diagnostics
The value -1 is returned if the macro fails.
