You can use the @cycles pseudoregister in expressions and macros. Keep in
mind, however, that @cycles exists only in the simulator. Macros which will be
used with a debugger/emulator must not refer to @cycles.

To add simulated wait states

• Set the value of the @wait_state pseudoregister.
The maximum value of @wait_state is 255 (0xFF).
Example
To add three cycles to simulated memory accesses, type "@wait_state= 3" in
the entry buffer, then click on the C EXPR () action key.
