Journal files are similar to command files. They contain debugger commands
entered during a debug session. Journal files also contain any output
generated by debugger commands. Journal files contain everything that is
written to the journal window during a debug session.
Example
To start recording commands and results to file "journal1.jou":
File Journal On journal1
To stop command and result recording to a
journal file
• Select File→Log→Stop Journal Recording.
Or:
• Using the command line, enter:
File Journal oFF
And press the < Return> key.

To open a file or device for read or write access

• Using the command line, enter:
File User_Fopen
Select the open option, window number, and file name; then, press the
< Return> key.
