If 'H
S' is selected as the component in the higher-level menu
2
display, the 'H
S sensor protection' function is selected in addi-
2
tion to the limits. The 'Limit' function is described in section
Parameters: Limits (Page 128).
In the 3rd line you can select the 'H
tion.
The adjacent menu display appears when you select the func-
tion in which you can switch the 'H
tion on and off.
Hydrogen sulfide (H
S) is a corrosive gas, especially in wet
2
condition and in combination with other gases. This function
prevents damage occurring to the H
centrations of H
S. This function is enabled by default (ON).
2
Execution of this function is described in section Probe protec-
tion function (Page 156).
You can use this function to set various time constants to sup-
press noise in the measured signal. During processing of the
measured signals, these time constants reduce the noise by
delaying the signal. The time constant "T
within an adjustable interval whose threshold values are de-
fined as a percentage of the smallest measuring range. The
time constant dampens small changes in signal (e.g. noise),
but becomes immediately ineffective if a fast change in signal
exceeds a threshold. If the threshold is exceeded, the signal is
dampened by the time constant "T
the threshold value again. "T
again.
