starting the inspection
,
check for loose or
poor contact on the neutral switch and PCM 33 P
( Gray ) connectors
,
and recheck the DTC
.
•
If the PCM is replaced , perform the
Clutch
Initialize
Learning Procedure ( page 12

DTC Recheck
Recheck the DTC with the MCS
.
Is DTC 52

1 indicated ?
YES
-
GO TO STEP 2
.
NO
-
Intermittent failure

Neutral Switch Line Open Circuit
Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF .
Disconnect the following :
-
PCM 33 P (Gray) connector ( page 4
- 34 )
- Neutral switch connector ( page
22 -
20 )
Check for continuity between the wire harness side
PCM 33 P ( Gray ) connector [ 1 ] and neutral switch
connector [ 2 ] terminals
.
Connection : B 30 - Light green
TOOL :
Test probe , 2 packs 07 ZAJ

Is there continuity ?
YES

GO TO
STEP 3

NO
-
Open circuit in the Light green wire

Neutral Switch Inspection
Replace
the neutral switch with a known good one
( page

Connect the PCM 33 P ( Gray ) connector and neutral
switch connector
.
Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop switch

Recheck the DTC with the MCS
,
Is DTC 52
-
1 indicated ?
YES
-
Replace the PCM with a known good one ,
and
recheck .
NO
-
Faulty original neutral switch

Disconnect the neutral switch connector

connector terminal and ground
