Cylinder Head Removal - Honda CTX700N/ND Service Manual

CYLINDER HEAD A
/
ALVES
Apply engine oil to a new large O
-
ring [ 1 ] and install it to
the
water
pump [ 2 ]
,
Install a new O
-
ring [ 3 ] to the water pump .
Install the water pump
to the cylinder head
.
• Align the water pump shaft groove with camshaft
tab
.
Install and tighten the bolts [ 1 ] .
Connect the water bypass hose [ 2 ]
,
•
Align the water bypass hose index mark with the
water
pump
tab
.
Tighten the water hose band screws to the specified
range ( page 8
- 8 ) .
Install the engine
