Measure the resistance
at the EOT
sensor

terminals

the
resistance within 2.5 - 2.8 kCl ( 20

YES
-
Replace the PCM with a known good one
,
and recheck
.
NO
-
Faulty EOT
sensor

EOT Sensor Input Line Short Circuit Inspection
Check the continuity between the wire harness side
2 P ( Black ) connector [ 1 ] terminal and ground
.
Connection : Blue / green - Ground
Is there continuity ?
YES
-
Short circuit in the Blue
/ green
wire
NO
-
Replace the PCM with a known good one ,
and recheck
.

• Before starting
the inspection , check
for
loose or
poor contact on the
EOT
sensor 2 P ( Black ) and
PCM 33 P connectors , and recheck the DTC
.
If the PCM is replaced , perform the Clutch Initialize
Learning Procedure ( page 12

YES

GO TO STEP 2

EOT Sensor Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF

Disconnect the EOT sensor 2 P ( Black ) connector
( page 12

connector [ 1 ] terminals with a jumper wire [ 2 ]

Connection : Blue

Turn

ignition switch ON and engine stop switch
