OIL GUIDE COLLAR REMOVAL/
INSTALLATION
Remove the right crankcase cover ( page 12 - 57 ) .
Remove the snap ring [
1 ] from the right crankcase

Remove the oil guide collar [ 1 ] from the right crankcase
cover with the special tool

Remove the O
-
rings from the oil guide collar .

Coat new O
- rings [ 1 ] with engine oil and install them
into the grooves in the oil guide collar [ 2 ] .
Install the oil guide collar into the right crankcase cover
until it is seated .
• Align the oil guide collar index mark and tabs with
the right crankcase cover index mark and slits .

groove with the chamfered edge facing in .
