3 . Clutch Line EOP Sensor Ground Line Open
Circuit Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF
.
Disconnect the PCM 33 P (Gray ) connector
( page 4
- 34 ) .
Check for continuity between the wire
harness side
clutch line EOP
sensor
3 P ( Black ) connector [ 1 ] and
PCM 33 P (Gray) connector [ 2 ] terminals .
Connection : Green/
yellow - B 22
TOOL :
Test probe

YES

Disconnect the PCM 33 P ( Black ) connector

Check for continuity between the wire harness side
clutch line EOP sensor 3 P ( Black ) connector [ 1 ] and
PCM 33 P ( Black ) connector [ 2 ] terminals
.
Connection : Violet /green - A 17
TOOL : Test probe

Is there continuity ?
YES

Replace the PCM with a known good one

and recheck

Open circuit in the Violet /green wire

NOTE :
• Before starting the inspection , check for loose or
poor contact on the
CKP sensor 2 P ( Red ) and PCM
33 P ( Gray ) connectors , then recheck the DTC .
•
If the PCM is replaced , perform the Clutch Initialize
Learning Procedure ( page
12 - 81 )

Disconnect the CKP sensor 2 P ( Red ) connector

Turn the ignition switch ON with the engine stop

Crank the engine
with the
starter motor , and
measure the CKP sensor peak voltage at the CKP
sensor 2 P ( Red ) connector ( 1 ] terminals of the CKP
sensor side .
Connection : Yellow ( + ) - White / yellow ( - )
