Configuring SNMP V3 Users

The SNMP v3 Users table lets you configure up to 10 SNMP v3 users for authentication
and privacy.
The following procedure describes how to configure SNMP v3 users in the Web interface.
You can also configure this using the table ini file parameter, SNMPUsers or CLI
command, configure system > snmp v3-users.
To configure an SNMP v3 user:
1.
Open the SNMP v3 Users page (Configuration tab > System menu > Management
> SNMP > SNMP V3 Users).
2.
Click Add; the following dialog box appears:

3.
Configure the SNMP V3 Setting parameters according to the table below.
4.
Click Submit, and then save ("burn") your settings to flash memory.
Note:
If you delete a user that is associated with a trap destination (see ''Configuring
SNMP Trap Destinations'' on page 77), the configured trap destination becomes
disabled and the trap user reverts to default (i.e., SNMPv2).
