    Assigning an IP Address You can manually assign a static IP address to the device or you can use a DHCP server to dynamically assign an IP address to the device. This is configured through the device's Command-Line Interface (CLI). To assign an IP address: Connect the device's RS-232 serial port, located on the rear panel and labeled CONSOLE, to the serial communication port on your computer (serial cable is not supplied).

    Cabling the Device Cabling depends on your ordered hardware interfaces, for example, the type of WAN interface. Connect the device's WAN port interface to your router. Connect any phone, fax or other PSTN equipment to any of the analog port interfaces (FXS). Insert the DC plug that is located at the end of the power cord of the supplied power adapter into the device's power socket located on the rear panel and labeled POWER.
