d) ACTIVATING THE RELAY

To change the

1.

When the "NEW SETTING HAS BEEN STORED" message appears, the relay will be in "Programmed" state and the
IN SERVICE indicator will turn on.
e) ENTERING INITIAL PASSWORDS
To enter the initial SETTING (or COMMAND) PASSWORD, proceed as follows:
1.
Press the
key until the 'SETTINGS' header flashes momentarily and the 'SETTINGS PRODUCT SETUP' mes-
sage appears on the display.
2.
Press the MESSAGE

When the relay is powered up, the TROUBLE indicator will be on, the IN SERVICE
indicator off, and this message displayed. This indicates that the relay is in the "Not
Programmed" state and is safeguarding (output relays blocked) against the installation
of a relay whose settings have not been entered. This message will remain until the
relay is explicitly put in the "Programmed" state.
"Not Programmed" mode to "Programmed", proceed as follows:
