Setting the User Name

Use the cursor keys to select User Name.

Press SET. A keyboard appears on the screen.

Use the keyboard to set the user name.
• For instructions on how to use the keyboard, see section 3.14, "Entering Values and
Character Strings."
• Enter "anonymous" as the user name if you do not want to require a password.
Setting the Password
(The password setting is not necessary if you set the user name to anonymous in step 8.)

Use the cursor keys to select Password.
10.
Press SET. A keyboard appears on the screen.
11. Use the keyboard to set the password.

Setting the Timeout Value

Use the cursor keys to select Time Out.
13.
Press SET to display the timeout value entry box.
14.
Use the cursor keys to set the timeout value.
15.
Press SET or ESC to close the entry box.
Connecting to the WT500

Run FTP client software from a PC or workstation.

To access the WT500, use the user name and password that you set in steps 6 to
