Assembly Installation and Removal Overview

Assembly Removal and Installation Procedure

This section is meant to be a high level overview of the process for
replacing an assembly. These steps should be followed if it is possible. If
these steps cannot be performed due to the instrument's condition,
perform any steps that can be done.
1. Faulty/bad board assembly is identified by using the troubleshooting
2. Before removing the bad assembly, use the Remove Assembly service
Do not proceed with assembly replacement until
completed. Failure to perform this step can result in the hardware not
functioning optimally, resulting in instrument errors and possibly self-test
failures.
3. Replace the faulty/bad assembly.
4. Press the corresponding Install Assembly menu softkey:
