Troubleshooting Performance Test Problems
This section describes the available Keysight X-Series signal generator
performance tests. These performance tests verify that the signal generator
meets specifications.
All test equipment configurations, cables and adapters must be properly
IMPORTANT
torqued. Exceeding recommended torque values can cause damage to a
cable or adapter, and may cause inaccurate test results.

Manual Performance Test Problems

When a manual performance test fails or self tests, performed as part of the
manual performance test, fails, use this table to locate the most likely faulty
assembly or action to perform. The tests are listed in the order they should be
performed.

— If the signal generator passes the Leveled
Output Power Verification test, replace the
