4.4. Cabling of the Radar Interface Unit NWP-46 (VDR option)

T he following cables are connected to the Radar Interface Unit (RIU).
1) RGB(Video) cable between Radar Unit and the RIU
2) Ethernet cable between the RIU and the RCU
3) Power Supply cable
4.4.1. Radar Interface Unit NWP-46 – Radar Unit (UXGA resolution)
The Radar Interface Unit is connected to Video signal output port of a Radar Unit.
The Radar Interface Unit has two ports for main Radar unit and sub Radar Unit.
Prepare connectable cables which should be selected by output connector type of a Radar unit.
The RIU is an option unit for connecting the JRC Chart radar (JMA-900M series).
Therefore connectable cable to JMA-900M is an accessory of NWP-46.

Connect the DVI plug of an attached
display cable to the jack on the AGP slot
of the Radar.
Caution
Do not remove this connector when a Chart Radar is
turned on. Image data is no longer outputted from
Radar.
