9.2. How to replace the fans

If a fan alarm buzzer of the Power Supply unit (NBL-327) sounds, replace the fans with spare ones.
1) Turn off the Power Supply Unit of the Recording Control Unit.
2) Turn off the circuit breaker of the electricity distribution board, to which the Recording Control Unit is
connected.
3) Remove the power input junction connector, J201and J202, which is mounted below the left of the Power
Supply Unit.
4) Remove the power output connector, J40, J402 and J403 which is mounted on the upper side of the
Mother Board.
5) Open the clamp fastening the power output cable.
6) Undo the 2 fastening screws of the Power Supply Unit
7) Pull the Power Supply Unit out of the Recording Control Unit slowly.
8) Remove the 2 fan connectors, J309 and J310, in the front of right side of the Power Supply Unit.
9) Pull each of the fan cables out of the cable holes.
10) For each fan, undo the 8 fastening crews.
11) In the reverse way, mount new fans on the Power Supply Unit, and put the Power Supply Unit into the
Recording Control Unit.
12) Be careful that direction of both fans is outward.
