7. ERROR DISPLAY

7.1. Recording Control Unit (NDV-1800/1850)

7.1.1. Power Supply Unit

5) MEDIA LED (MCB):
Blinks when a CF CARD is not loaded or unable to record data correctly.
13) RMS SYS. LED (RMB):
Lights up when the Remote Maintenance Board is operating abnormally.
14) DATA LED (RMB):
Lights up when the Remote Maintenance Board can not receive any data.

7.2. Operation Panel Unit (NCG-169)

ERROR CODE LED:
The four digit LEDs on OPU panel show ERROR codes as follows:

Error display of the Power Supply Unit
BATTERY ABN. LED:
Lights up when the Battery is not ready.
BATTERY OP. LED:
Lights up when the Battery is in operation.
FAN ABN. LED:
Lights up when either of the two fans stops operation.
Error display of the Data Processor Unit
CATEGORY
System Initial error
There is a discrepancy in the configuration data between the Protective
Capsule Unit and the Recording Control Unit.
Initial Heading Angle Unregistered
The initial value of HEADING is not established.
Input the angle.
PSU Blackout alarm
The Power Supply Unit is in operation using the backup Battery.
PSU FAN alarm
Either of two fans inside the Power Supply Unit is out of order.
PSU connection alarm
The cable between the Power Supply Unit and the Mother Board is
disconnected.
Capsule Capsule LAN error
The Recording Control Unit does not communicate with the Protective
Capsule Unit via LAN.
Bit Error Rate error
The Protective Capsule Unit sensed higher BER than 10
check of the recorded data.
Recording stop alarm
S-VDR stops recording data as the REC STOP SWITCH on the Recording
Control Unit has been pressed.
