Data are recorded continuously, and when they are overlimited, the old ones are deleted.
12.5.3. Memory Assignment of Each Data Format
The Protective Capsule contains a solid state Flash Memory array, which stores data. The
Protective Capsule Unit receives data from the Recording Control Unit via a TCP/IP-based
network. The received data are then recorded to their corresponding memory areas assigned to
the final recording medium in the Protective Capsule Unit.
The memory areas are assigned for the following data categories.
1) Settings of the system configuration
2) Sensor data in the form of IEC61162-1/2
3) Audio signal data of bridge conversations (ch #1: microphones 1-3)
4) Audio signal data of bridge conversations (ch #2: microphones 4-6)
5) Audio signal data of bridge conversations (ch #3: microphones 7-9)
6) Radio communication data from the VHF radio communication equipment (VHF 1-3)
7) RADAR video data
