Because the License Server components are lightweight, you can install the components on
any machine, which runs one of the following operating systems
• Microsoft Windows 2000 (32 bit)
• Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
• Microsoft Windows XP (32 bit)
• Microsoft Windows 2003 Server
• Microsoft Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit)
• Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit)
The Licensing Server requires ports 27000 and 27001 to be accessible. You can modify the
TCP/IP port number of the License Server Manager (lmgrd) in the Server line. For information

How to configure ports for licensing

The following are the steps to configure ports for licensing:
1. The 2050 IP Softphone starts to send the TCP packets to the license server. The
