Description and Action
This message is displayed if the printout selector is turned to the
faceup stacking position while duplex printing is selected. The
printout selector switch detects the position of the printout selector
shaft.
To clear this error, turn the printout selector to the duplex
facedown stacking position.
Troubleshooting
A malfunctioning printout selector switch
circuit causes this type of error. Use the following procedure to
test and repair:
1.
Open the top cover so you can see behind the inverter unit
and make sure the inverter connectors are fully plugged into
the bulkhead of the duplex unit.
2.
Remove the inverter side panels and examine the action of the
printout selector switch. Fix or replace any damaged parts or
replace the inverter unit.
3.
Swap the dc control board.
