[8] Key-entry, beeper and vibrator test
Use the following procedure to perform a key entry, beeper and vibrator
test.
1.
Select "8: KEY & VIBRATION" at the TEST menu and then press the ENT
key.
The screen displays as shown on the right, and the BHT waits for key entry.
2.
Press the ENT key.
Pressing individual k
pre-assigned to those keys on the LCD as well as sounding the beeper or
activating the vibrator. (As long as the individual key is held down, the
c
ontinues to beep or vibrate.)
3.
P
ress the same key again.
T
he displayed characters disappear.
4.
R
epeat the above operation to display all keys on the screen.
U
pon completion of the test, the BHT automatically returns to the TEST
m
enu.
Turn OFF the power to abort the test during testing.
The table below shows the relationship between the keys, th
le
tters to be displayed on the screen, and the frequencies (Hz) of the beeper.
