Viewing OSPF errors on a port

Check OSPF errors for administrative and troubleshooting purposes.
Prerequisites
Access Privileged EXEC mode.
Procedure steps
To display extended information about OSPF errors for the specified port or for all ports,
use the following command:
show ip ospf port-error [port <portList>] [vrf <WORD 0-64>]
[vrfids <0-255>]
Variable definitions
Use the data in the following table to help you use the OSPF port error commands.
port <portList>
vrf <WORD 0-64>
vrfids <0-255>
Configuration — OSPF and RIP
Variable
Configures the retransmit interval for the virtual interface,
the number of seconds between link-state advertisement
retransmissions.
Configures the transit delay for the virtual interface, which
is the estimated number of seconds required to transmit a
link-state update over the interface.
Applies only to VLAN interfaces. Specifies the VLAN ID.
Variable
Specifies a port or ports.
Specifies the VRF by name.
Specifies a range of VRFs by ID number.
