Field
Indicates which versions of RIP updates are accepted:
• rip1
• rip2
• rip1OrRip2
The default is rip1OrRip2. Rip2 and rip1OrRip2 imply
receipt of multicast packets.
Indicates the RIP cost for this interface. Enter a value from
1 to 15. The default is 1.
Indicates if the default route must be advertised from this
interface. The default route is advertised only if it exists in
the routing table.
Indicates if the default route must be learned on this
interface when advertised by another router connected to
the interface.
Indicates the status of the RIP triggered update on the
interface.
Indicates the status of automatic aggregation on the
interface.
Indicates the status of advertising RIP routes through the
interface.
Indicates the status of RIP reception on the interface.
Indicates the status of poison reverse on the interface. If
disabled, split horizon is invoked, meaning that IP routes
learned from an immediate neighbor are not advertised
back to the neighbor from which the routes were learned.
If enabled, the RIP update sent to a neighbor from which a
route is learned is poisoned with a metric of 16. In this
manner, the route entry is not passed to the neighbor,
because historically 16 is infinity in terms of hops on a
network. The default is disable.
Indicates the RIP in policy applied.
Indicates the RIP out policy applied.
Shows the RIP hold-down timer for the interface in
seconds.
Shows the timeout interval in seconds.
