Configuration — OSPF and RIP
Variable
Enables or disables RIP on the port.
Specifies that the routing switch advertises RIP routes
through the interface. The default is enable.
Specifies that the routing switch learns RIP routes through
this interface. The default is enable.
If disabled, invokes split horizon; IP routes learned from an
immediate neighbor are not advertised back to the neighbor
from which the routes were learned. If enabled, the RIP
update sent to a neighbor from which a route is learned is
poisoned with a metric of 16. In this manner, the route entry
is not passed to the neighbor, because historically 16 is
infinity in terms of hops on a network. The default is
disable.
Enables or disables DefaultSupply. Enable Default Route
Supply if a default route exists in the routing table. The
default is disable.
The default route is advertised only if it exists in the routing
table.
Enables or disables DefaultListen. Configure Default Listen
to true if a default route must be learned on this interface
when advertised by another router connected to the
interface. The default is disable.
Enable Default Route Listen to add a default route to the
route table if it is advertised from another router.
