Viewing OSPF external link-state advertisements

View the link-state database to determine externally learned routing information.
Information is shown for all metric types or for the type specified.
Procedure steps
To view the OSPF autonomous system external (ASE) link-state advertisements, enter
the following command:
show ip ospf ase [metric-type <value>] [vrf <value>] [vrfids
<value>]

Use the data in the following table to help you use the show ip ospf ase command.

Configuration — OSPF and RIP
Field
is the same that is used for ISO connectionless datagrams.
It is commonly referred to as the Fletcher checksum.
Indicates the ASE link address.
Indicates the ASE link type.
Indicates the Ethernet metric for the speed where Metric =
10^8 / ifSpeed
Variable
<value> specifies the metric type as a string of 1 to 2
characters.
Identifies the VRF by name.
Specifies a VRF by ID.
