Displaying the MP Databases
CFM maintains two MP databases:
•
MEP Database (MEP-DB): Every MEP must maintain a database of all other MEPs in the MA that have
announced their presence via CCM.
•
MIP Database (MIP-DB): Every MIP must maintain a database of all other MEPs in the MA that have
announced their presence via CCM.
To display the MEP and MIP databases, use the following commands.
•
Display the MEP Database.

show ethernet cfm maintenance-points remote detail [active | domain {level |
name} | expired | waiting]

Display the MIP Database.
EXEC Privilege mode
show ethernet cfm mipdb

Setting the MP Database Persistence
To set the database persistence, use the following command.
•
Set the amount of time that data from a missing MEP is kept in the continuity check database.
ECFM DOMAIN
database hold-time minutes
The default is 100 minutes.
The range is from 100 to 65535 minutes.
