Installing PCI Add-in Cards
NOTE
Before installing any PCI add-in boards, you may want to install an operating system.
1.
Observe the safety and ESD precautions listed in Appendix A,

Power down the workstation and unplug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable.
3.
Remove the left side cover. For instructions, see

Open the back panel PCI Add-in Card Retention Device by pressing open from the inside of the chassis.
5.
If it is already not removed, remove the PCI slot shield by pushing the shield out from the inside of the chassis.
