User Management tab - Add Users
The Add User dialog is used to add new users to the system. To add a user:

Step 1: Click Add

Step 2: Enter user details
●
Step 3: Assign user status to Administrator if necessary
The VK-64/VK-16 Administrator status is independent of the
Windows Administrator status.

Setting up Users
In the User Management tab, click
Add to bring up the Add User dialog.
In the Add User dialog, enter the
following details:
Enter the user's User Name (up

to 20 characters, including alpha-
numeric letters and underscore
"_").
Enter the password in Password.

The Confirm Password field
will become active. Re-enter the
password (up to 20 characters,
including alphanumeric letters
and underscore "_").
Click OK when finished. The

dialog closes and the new user
is displayed in the User List.
In the user list under Administrator,

tick the box to give the user full
access to Network Video Recorder
Configuration function, otherwise
leave unchanged.
Click Apply to save changes.
