About the Add Camera Server Dialog

The Add Camera Server dialog's appearance will depend on the type of Camera Server
connected.

Set up camera position and saved video

The Add Camera Server dialog allows you to set a camera thumbnail image for the
Viewer and to choose a Storage Server for recorded video.
The dialog shown below illustrates an example VB-C300 setup.
Connection Settings
Select a Storage Server to save
video from the camera. Selecting
Do not record prevents video
from being recorded.

One or more tabs
may show depending
on the type of the
Camera Server.
● The Viewer cannot set the Camera Server name. It must be set
on the Camera Server. Refer to the Camera Server's User's
Manual for more information on setting the name ("Camera
Name" for VB-C300, VB-C50i/VB-C50iR, VB-C50FSi, VB-C50Fi
and VB-C10/VB-C10R, "Device Name" for VB150. The sensor
name is "External Device Name" for VB-C50i/VB-C50iR, VB-
C50FSi and VB-C50Fi, "External Device Input Name" for VB-
C10/VB-C10R and VB150).
● Recording schedules must be set in order to record video. Clicking
OK does not immediately start recording video.
Set backlight compensation.
Select a drive on the Storage
Server to save video.
