7.1.1 Navigation Functions

7.1.2 Interface Summary
NOTE
A G3X system installation can use either GDU 37X or GDU 45X/46X displays, but a G3X
system installation cannot use GDU 37X and GDU 45X/46X displays.
NOTE
Please refer to the G3X Touch Pilot's Guide (190-01754-00) for guidance in using
Connext Bluetooth connections to Garmin Pilot device(s).
The GDU 45X uses RS-232 and CAN communications interfaces, and also has a video input BNC
connector. The GDU 45X can be configured to communicate directly with the following Garmin LRUs:

7.3.1 Required Equipment
The installation kit (Table 7-1) is required to install the unit, one kit is required for each GDU 45X
installed. The GDU 45X Nut Plate
