STOPPER LEVER AND SHIFT SHAFT

1. Install:
• Return spring
• Stopper lever
14Nm (1.4m•kg, 10 ft•lb)
NOTE:
• Mesh the stopper lever with the shift cam.
2. Install:
• shift shaft
NOTE:
• Lubricate the oil seal lips with lithium-
soap-based grease.
3. Check:
• shift pawl position
Gaps k a and k b are not equal
Replace the defective part(s).

1. Lubricate:
• Bearing
• Oil seal lip
• Washer
• Push lever axle
