CLEANING THE AIR FILTER ELEMENT

CAUTION
Do not twist the air filter element when
squeezing it.
4. Check:
• air filter element
Damage Replace.
5. Apply the recommended oil to the entire
surface of the air filter element and squeeze
out the excess oil. The air filter element
should be wet but not dripping.
Recommended oil
SAE10W30
6. Install:
• air filter element
• air filter element (to element guide)
NOTE:
Install the washer
upwards as shown.
• Air filter assembly.
Slide in guide to air case.
CAUTION
Be sure to insert the element guide into the
filter case with its handle
to you, and also pay attention to the seal
sponge for damage.
7. Install:
• Side cover (left)
