Serial Communication Port Wiring
Communication Port J2 can be configured for RS-232 or RS-422 serial
communications (default setting is RS-232). Communication Port J3 is configured
for RS-232.
The RS-232 connections are shown in Figure A-1.
The RS-422 connections are shown in Figure A-2. The maximum distance from
the Master Modbus Device to the 723PLUS control is 1219 m (4000 ft).
