Redirecting an Incoming Call to Boss' Voicemail

Admin can redirect an incoming call to Boss' voicemail without answering it. For this feature to be
supported, Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging - including voicemail - must be activated on
Boss' account.

To redirect an incoming call to Boss' voicemail:
1. When your (Admin) screen displays an incoming call for Boss, you'll view the ToBossVM
softkey displayed.
2. Press the ToBossVM softkey; the call is automatically redirected to Boss' voicemail.

Admin Handing Off a Call to Boss

When in a call on Boss' behalf, Admin can hand the call off to Boss. Boss' phone rings and Admin
is disconnected. This is similar to Blind Transfer (see Section 6.5.2) except that Boss is always
the party to whom the call is transferred.

To hand a call off a call to Boss:
1. When in a call on behalf of Boss, press the

6.3.10 Boss Handing Off a Call to Admin

When in a call, Boss can hand the call off to Admin. Admin's phone rings and Boss is
disconnected. This is similar to Blind Transfer (see Section 6.5.2) only with Admin always the
party to whom the call is transferred.


6.3.11 Boss Monitoring Admins, Seizing a Call Put on Hold by an Admin

Boss can monitor Admin when Admin is in a call on Boss' behalf. If the Programmable Key on
Boss' phone flashes, it indicates to Boss that Admin is in a call. Boss can long-press the key to
see with whom Admin is talking.
If Admin puts the call on hold (even while Boss is monitoring), the Pick up softkey shown

below is displayed.
Boss can press the Pick up softkey to seize the call from Admin, who'll be disconnected.

Boss can then talk with the other side.
