1. Important notes

Before putting into operation, please observe
the following points:
• Inform your dealer immediately if there is any
transport damage.
• Completely remove the accessories from the
carton.
• Only operate the suction unit from a suitable
socket outlet with earthing contact. Refer to
the Technical data for the necessary mains
fuse.
• The suction unit is not suitable for sucking
up hazardous dusts such as asbestos. Plea-
se consult your Kärcher branch or your Kär-
cher dealer with regard to such applications.

Safety instructions

Please observe the following safety instruc-
tions.
• Unplug the mains plug from the socket befo-
re performing any maintenance work.
• Always check the mains cable for damage or
signs of ageing before use.
• Do not use the suction unit if the mains cable
is not in perfect condition.
• Remember: never damage the mains cable
by driving over it, crushing it, pulling it hard
etc.
• Only a skilled electrician or your authorized
Kärcher customer service center may repla-
ce the mains cable.
Only use the original cable H05 VV - F 2x1.
CAUTION!
Never suck up:
• hot ashes
• explosive liquids
including petrol, paint thinner or heating
oil, since explosive vapors form when they
swirl together with the suction air.
• acetone
• undiluted acids and solvents
