Safety notes

Appropriate use
The appliance is intended for use as a wet
and dry vacuum cleaner in accordance with
the descriptions and safety instructions in
these operating instructions.
- Use this appliance only in the home
sector.
- The attached accessory has been selected
mainly for the cleaning around the car.
- Accessories for other cleaning tasks can
be found in our extensive range of special
accessories.
General safety notes
The appliance is not intended for use by
young children or infirm persons without
supervision.
Young children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
Never leave the machine unattended if the
master switch is on.

Electrical connection

The voltage shown on the model plate must
concur with that of the electricity mains
supply.

Danger of electric shock!
Never grasp the mains plug with wet hands.
Check the connection lead and mains plug
for damage before each use. Have a
damaged connection lead replaced
immediately by an authorised Customer
Service point or by an electrician.
When using the machine in wet rooms, e.g.
in the bathroom, only connect it to sockets
which are connected in series with a ground
fault circuit interrupter. In case of doubt,
consult an electrician.

Danger of explosion!
Never use to appliance to vacuum explosive
liquids, flammable gases, explosive dusts,
ENGLISH
or undiluted acids or solvents! This includes
petrol, paint thinners and heating oil which
may form explosive vapours or mixtures
when drawn in with the swirling suction air.
Never vacuum up aluminium or magnesium
dust either. Furthermore, these substances
may also attack the unit.
Do not use the appliance to vacuum burning
or smouldering objects.
It is not permitted to use the appliance in
potentially explosive locations.

Environmental Protection

Please arrange for the proper disposal
of the packaging
The packaging material can be recycled.
Please do not place the packaging into the
ordinary refuse for disposal, but arrange for
the proper recycling.
Please arrange for the proper disposal
of the old appliance
Old appliances contain valuable
materials that can be recycled.
Please arrange for the proper recycling of
old appliances. Batteries, oil, and similar
substances must not enter the environment.
Please dispose of your old appliances using
appropriate collection systems.

Warranty

The warranty terms published by our
competent sales company are applicable in
each country. We will repair potential failures
of your appliance within the warranty period
free of charge, provided that such failure is
caused by faulty material or defects in
fabrication. In the event of a warranty claim
please contact your dealer or the nearest
authorized Customer Service center. Please
submit the proof of purchase.
