Utilising circlip pincers as shown in the figure, widen
the pads so that the pistons are pushed back into their
seats.
The outward movement of the brake pads
provocates the retraction of the pistons in
their relative seats, with a consequent
increase in the level of the brake fluid in the
brake fluid chamber.
Remove the pad support pin and the relative spring.
Remove the pad by letting it drop down.
Rear brake pads
Wear/substitution check:
the first time after 1000 kilometres; then every 6000
kilometres.
Check the wear condition and the thickness of the
brake pads on the calipers.
