Handling UV Inks
Read and practice safety guidelines as outlined in the MSDS for each ink. Post these
documents in the work area as required by prevailing law. MSDS for all four inks
are provided when you purchase inks. The following is a summary of the important
safety aspects of the MSDS that are common to all UV inks.

Can cause severe respiratory irritation, dizziness, weakness, fatigue,
nausea, headache and possible unconsciousness.
Can cause severe irritation, defatting, and dermatitis. Irritation ef-
fects may last for hours or days but will not likely result in perma-
nent damage.
Corrosive to eye tissue. Can cause severe irritation, tearing, and
burns that can quickly lead to permanent injury including blindness.
Severely irritating to mouth, throat, and stomach. Can cause abdom-
inal discomfort, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Effect
Upon prolonged and/or repeated exposure, can cause severe respira-
tory irritation, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, nausea, headache and
possible unconsciousness.
Upon prolonged or repeated contact can cause severe irritation, de-
fatting, and dermatitis. May cause lingering affects but not likely to
result in permanent damage if the exposure is eliminated. Upon pro-
longed or repeated exposure, harmful if absorbed through the skin.
May cause severe irritation and systemic damage
