4.2.2.2 Detachment of Pad

(1) Open the ADF top cover. (See sub 4.2.2.1)
(2) As in the figure under, insert the tip of the small minus driver softly to the dent of the pad
case. By this operation, the inner hooks of pad is removed in direction of the arrow (A).
Note: In order to cause damage to the surface of roller, please take attention to use the
tool when this operation.
(3) Push another side of pad forward in direction of the arrow (B) with the tool inserted.
(4) Exchange to the new pad in the direction of the arrow.
