Description of the SPG
Description
When the LPS signal exceeds its standard 25V value, the Start Pulse Generator (SPG) generates a burst of high voltage peaks to
ignite the lamp. It superimposes the high voltage peaks onto the power signal of the lamp supplied by the LPS. As soon as the lamp
is lit, the LPS voltage drops to 25V again and the SPG stops its activity.
If, after three attempts, the lamp is still not on, the projector switches back to standby mode.
