IGNITION SYSTEM
COl UNIT
Remove the fue l tank (page 4 -3\.
Check the spark plug condition before system inspection (page
3-5).
Disconnect and test the 2P and 4P couplers from the COl unit
couplers according to the following chart-

- Ignition coil primary coil (page 14--3).
- Ignition coil secondary coil (page 14·3).
- Alternator exciter coil (page 14·3).
- Pulse generator (page 14·41 .
- Ignition and engine stop switches {page

Inspect the COl unit with COl tester.

• Follow the COl tester manufacturer'S instructions.

Connect the special adapter to the COl unit and COl tester
