<Procedure>
(1)
Perform the test print according to the following procedure.

[INTERRUPT]
(Stores in memory)
(2)
Check if any transfer void is occurring. If
there is a transfer problem, try the values in
descending order as "31"
until the transfer void disappears. At the
same time, confirm if any paper jam occurs.
Also, when the aligning amount has been
increased, this may increase the scraping
noise caused by the paper and the Mylar
sheet as it is transported by the registration
roller. If this scraping noise is annoying, try to
decrease the value.
(3)
Perform the same procedure for all paper sources.
Note:
Note:
When paper thinner than specified is used, paper jams may occur frequently at the registration
section. In this case, it is advisable to change (or reduce) the aligning amount.
However, if the aligning amount is reduced too much, this may cause the shift of leading edge
position. So, when adjusting the aligning amount, try to choose the appropriate amount while
confirming the leading edge position is not shifted.
* As a tentative countermeasure, the service life of the feed roller can be extended by increas-
ing the aligning amount.
