1 Is there dust or stains on part of the
original glass where the shading cor-
rection plate is placed.
2 Is there a foreign matter on the main
charger grid?
3 Is the main charger grid dirty or
deformed?
4 Is there a foreign matter on the main
charger?
5 Is the needle electrode dirty or
deformed?
6 Is there a foreign matter inside the
main charger case?
7 Is the inside of the main charger case
dirty?
8 Is there paper dust sticking to the
drum cleaning blade edge?
9 Is the drum cleaning blade working
properly?
10 Has the used toner been recovered
properly?
11 Is the fuser roller surface dirty or
damaged?
12 Is the thermistor dirty?
13 Are there scratches on the drum sur-
face?
14 Is there a foreign matter or stain on
the slit glass?

Prescription
Clean the plate.
Remove the foreign matter.
Clean or replace the main charger
grid.
Remove the foreign matter.
Clean or replace the needle elec-
trode.
Remove the foreign matter.
Clean the inside of the main charger
case.
Clean or replace the cleaning blade.
Check the pressurization of the drum
cleaning blade.
Clean the toner recovery auger.
Clean or replace the fuser roller.
Clean the thermistor.
Replace the drum.
Remove the foreign matter or the
stain.
