External Keypad

CI-V Baud Rate

Set the CI-V data transfer rate between 300, 1200,
4800, 9600, 19200 bps and "Auto."
When "Auto" is selected, the baud rate is automatically
set according to the data rate of the connected con-
troller.

CI-V Address
To distinguish equipment, each CI-V transceiver has
its own Icom standard address in hexadecimal code.
The IC-9100's address is 7Ch.
When 2 or more IC-9100's are connected to an op-

tional CT-17
level converter, rotate [MAIN DIAL] to
select a different address for each IC-9100; the range
is 01h to DFh.
CI-V Transceive

Turn the transceive function using the CI-V system ON
or OFF.
When this item is set to ON, changing the frequency,
operating mode, etc. on the IC-9100 automatically
changes those settings on other Icom transceivers or
receivers, and vice versa.

• ON : Transceive function ON
USB2/DATA1 Func

Two COM port numbers are assigned to the [USB]
connector. One of them is "USB1," used for cloning
and CI-V operation. The other one is "USB2," and the
function is selected by this item.

: "USB2" is not used.
• RTTY : Used to send RTTY decoded signals.
• DVdat : Used for low-speed data input and output.
• If you set the function of the [DATA1] jack to
"GPS," and "DATA1 ➔ USB2" is selected as
the "GPS Out" item's option, as described
below, "USB2" will be used for the low-speed
data input and GPS data output.
