Original Scanned Using The Feeder Becomes Dirty
If your originals have black streaks or appear dirty after feeding them in the feeder, perform Feeder Clean-
ing. Cleaning is accomplished by repeatedly feeding blank originals (copy sheets) through the feeder.
MEMO
The Adjustment/Cleaning screen is made up of several screens. Use the [ ] and [ ] keys to scroll to the
desired screen and make the required settings.
When [ ] [ ] should be pressed, the indication

Call up the desired screen as follows.

Place blank LTR-size copy sheets in the feeder,
and then press the [START] key.
MEMO
To cancel Feeder Cleaning, press the [C] key.
While feeder cleaning is being performed, the message on the
left appears in the touch panel display.

When Feeder Cleaning is complete, the
display returns to the Adjustment/Cleaning
screen.
Press the [DONE] key.
Repeat this until the Basic Features screen appears again.
