Using the Memory for Copying

If Memory Becomes Full During Copying

If the memory becomes full during scanning of originals, the following messages appear on the touch-
panel display.
MEMO
Depending on the memory size of the machine, number of originals (LTR size Canon standard chart no.1)
scanned, differs as follows.
memory size
2–30
number of originals
32MB
150 originals
64MB
360 originals
96MB
650 originals
If the message asking whether to print the original pages
scanned into memory appears, select [YES] or [NO] as
appropriate.
[YES] : Pages in memory are printed, and remaining originals are then
[NO] : Pages in memory are not printed.
When processing is completed, the display returns to the Basic Features
screen.
If the screen displayed on the left appears, press [OK]
to return to the Basic Features screen. Divide the
number of originals to be copied into several smaller
batches, and restart the copy process.
Alternatively, you can install the optional expansion
memory which will enable the machine to scan more
original pages into memory. Please contact your service
representative for details.
